work space

lily used to describe our studios at school as the barrio. there was that vending machine for watered down coffee, now it's nespresso.the 50cent beer has been replaced by martini bianco, tanqueray, proseco.(like a cranach landscape, where the clouds, the grounds, the horses and people are all rendered in the same way,it's really just made of the same stuff) more than a physical space, the spaces we occupy and work in are mental. some have the past in them, some a present you can't really describe, except in pictures
